TWIST AND TURNS IN FLOP POKER
The south and mid west region is seeing the uprising of this particular game called as the flop poker. This is another variety of poker but slightly different from others. The players of this game have to use three cards, which are dealt to them, and the community cards, which are two to three in number. They need to build a good five cards poker hand if they want to go home with a substantial amount of cash. The pot of money is the bird’s eye for the entire group of players for which all of them try to make a very good hand.
- Ante wager and pot wager need to be made for the game. The table minimum is called the pot wager and the starting point for ante wager is $5. This amount can vary depending on the table. It is meant for the best hand held and is always placed in the middle of the table.
- You will be dealt three cards and all of them will be facing downward. You are not allowed to check them until you get the permission from the dealer. Such cards should not be revealed to other players, as the competition is one for the pot value.
- You will always be allowed the opportunity of having two of the dealer’s card for the game that is why you should hold onto your hand even if it is bad in nature. Judge your cards properly and accordingly raise or fold. Bad combination of cards does not always lead to obvious folding.
- The dealer will then reveal the three cards of the table. You can choose two cards out of them and combine them with the three cards of your hand to make the best possible combination.
- After the cards are taken up by, you to make the best hand the dealer will look after all the cards and decide that who has the best hand.
Suggestions
- You should not start folding without seeing the flop cards as they can dramatically change the combination you are holding. Always bet safely and hold onto the game until the flop cards are shown.
- Some players start betting and raising even without seeing their own cards. This looks very brave on the poker table and adds a new height of excitement to the game, which nothing else can replace.
